- an article that may not cover “standard research” but is of general interest to the broad readership of JEO
- a brief report of research findings adequate for the journal’s scope and of particular interest to the community
- Should be between 300-800 words
We recommend contacting the editors before writing a letter to the editor. Letters to the editor with regards to published articles are sent to the authors of the article. Then, these have the chance to reply to it. Often these are only sent to the authors for reply and are not published in JEO.
