The aspiration test: an arthroscopic sign of lateral meniscus posterior horn instability

Jacquet et al. described a new diagnostic arthroscopic manoeuvre: “the aspiration test”. Damage to the suspensory mechanism of the lateral meniscus’ posterior horn can result in pain, locking or lack of rotational control.

Middle trapezius transfer for treatment of irreparable supraspinatus tendon tears- anatomical feasibility study

This anatomic study by Moroder et al. explored the feasibility of doing a middle trapezius transfer. Irreparable supraspinatus tendon tears with associated pain and loss of function are difficult to treat and tendon transfers are a complex solution to this problem.

Influence of femoral tunnel exit on the 3D graft bending angle in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction

This study by Hodel et al. showed that the orientation of the femoral tunnel, not just the articular entry but also the lateral femoral tunnel exit point, has an effect on the bending angle and excursion of the graft.
